Not professional advice
Everything on this site, including the calculators, guides, examples and FAQs, is general information for educational and planning purposes. It is not financial, tax, accounting, investment or legal advice, and it does not create any professional relationship between you and RateRight.
Taxes differ by country and situation
Tax rules, rates, thresholds, deductions and filing deadlines differ between countries and change over time. The tax set-aside calculator uses a single rate that you choose, which is a simplification. Your real tax may be higher or lower. Please confirm your figures with your tax authority or a qualified accountant before making decisions.
Example numbers are not market rates
Figures shown in guides, profession pages and default calculator values are illustrations. They do not represent what freelancers in any profession or country actually earn or charge, and they are not a promise or prediction of income. Your own rate should reflect your skills, market, costs and goals.
Results depend on your inputs
Each calculator applies simple formulas to the numbers you enter. If the inputs are inaccurate or incomplete, the result will be too. Review the assumptions on the How we calculate page.
